  1. LCD Display:

- Displays time, date, battery level, and GSM signal strength.


  1. Family Preset Number Key 1:

- Quick press to receive an incoming call.

- Long press for 3 seconds during a call to improve call quality.

- Long press for 3 seconds during standby mode to dial the family preset number 1.



  1. Power Key:

- Power ON : Long press for 3 seconds while the device is OFF.

- Power OFF : Long press for 3 seconds while the device is ON.

- End call : Quick press during a call.

- Reject call : Quick press while receiving a call.

- Display time/date : Quick Press once during standby mode.

- Display signal/battery : Quick Press twice during standby mode.

- Display GPS signal : Quick Press thrice during standby mode.



  1. Family Preset Number Key 2:

- Quick press to receive an incoming call.

- Long press for 3 seconds Family Preset Number Key 1 during a call to improve call quality.

- Long press for 3 seconds during standby mode to dial the family preset number 2.



  1. SOS Warning:

- Long press for 3 seconds to push a warning/emergency alert to the authorized tracking smart phone running the xwatch mobile application.



  1. SIM Card Slot:

- Insert SIM card: Push the SIM card directly into the slot until locked.

- Remove SIM card: Push the SIM card directly, the SIM card will eject.



  1. USB Interface:

- Use the provided USB cable with the device for charging purposes only.



c. Warning :

- Avoid contact with water.

- Keep away from fire and high temperature.

- Do not allow children to put device in their mouth by mistake.

- Do not use unauthorized USB cables to charge the device.

- The device will not work if battery is discharged, power state is OFF, or out of service.



d. Caller Security Feature :

- Device can receive calls only from the two Family Preset Numbers set on the device and the registered mobile number for the XWATCH user account that is monitoring the device.

  1. Getting started:

STEP 1: Insert a 2G (GPRS) data-enabled micro-SIM card into device SIM card slot.

STEP 2: Use smart phone to download the XWATCH application and then install it. You can use the QR code provided below to download the Android XWATCH App from the Google Playstore and IOS XWATCH App from the App Store:

STEP 3: Follow XWATCH APP instructions to pair and monitor the XWATCH device with a smart phone.



2. XWATCH APP



a. For Android

  1. Download XWATCH APP from the Google Play Store, Install and Launch the App:

- If you are a NEW USER, provide your name and Register with a valid email ID.

- Provide mobile number of the smart phone that will be used for monitoring the device.

- Provide device IMEI number (Please check packaging box labels for IMEI number).

- Provide a USER ID that will be used to login to the account and set the password.

- Enable GPS by going to the settings menu

II. Adding a device to XWATCH App for tracking in Android

- Click on DEVICES at the XWATCH tracking center and click on "+" at XWATCH devices

- Enter IMEI number of the device to be tracked if already not set

- Provide SIM No. and select network provider of the SIM card to be used

- Provide child name and photo that will be using this device

III. Device Activation Procedure in Android

- Once the device is added, device activation can take up to three minutes. If device fails activation, retry activation by clicking on the cartwheel and going to the device settings.





IV. Deleting a device from XWATCH App in Android

- Press the trash icon for the device to be deleted from App.





b. For IOS

  1. Download XWATCH APP from the App Store, Install and Launch the App:

- Allow XWatch to access your GPS location

- If you are a NEW USER, provide your name and Register with a valid email ID.

- Provide mobile number of the smart phone that will be used for monitoring the device.

- Provide device IMEI number (Please check packaging box labels for IMEI number).

- Provide a USER ID that will be used to login to the account and set the password.

II. Adding a device to XWATCH App for tracking in IOS

- Click on DEVICES at the XWATCH tracking center and click on "+" at XWATCH devices

- Enter IMEI number of the device to be tracked if already not set

- Provide SIM No. and select network provider of the SIM card to be used

- Provide child name and photo that will be using this device





II. Device Activation Procedure in IOS

- Once the device is added, Send the predefined initialization text messages as shown:





- Once the two text messages are sent, device activation can take up to three minutes. If device fails activation, retry activation by clicking on the cartwheel and going to the device settings.

- Resend the two text messages when prompted until the device is activated.





III. Deleting a device from XWATCH App in IOS

- Press the trash icon for the device to be deleted from App.

- Send the deletion text message by clicking on the "Send" button with predefined text.





c. The App

I. XWATCH Tracking Center

- All XWATCH devices can be managed by clicking the DEVICES icon

- All XWATCH devices can be located instantly by clicking the LOCATE icon

- All XWATCH advanced services can be accessed by clicking the SERVICES icon

- XWATCH User menu can be accessed by clicking the three vertical dots to:

- By clicking the back button "<", user will be prompted to logout of App.





II. Basic Services:

A. Device Management (Adding, Deleting, Changing Settings)

- By clicking on the DEVICES icon, enter into the Device Management area

- By clicking on the "+" sign, new devices can be added as described earlier

- By clicking on the refresh sign adjacent to "+", current status of the devices will be refreshed.

- By clicking on the cartwheel icon, device settings can be changed.

- Telecom operator has to be selected for the respective SIM

- Select the power modes (Normal -Most Accurate / Medium / Low)

- By clicking on the tracking icon, device can be located on a map

- By clicking on the calling icon, two way calls can be made to the device


- NOTE: For IOS App, Any change to Primary and Secondary Numbers will require a text message to be sent as shown in the above snapshots.


B. Locating Devices (Real time Location, App to Device two-way voice calling)

- By clicking on the LOCATE icon in the tracking center, start locating devices

- All devices that are tracked by the application will be displayed on the tracker

- By clicking the tracking icon, the current address of the devices are displayed

- A red color icon indicates a GPS (Satellite-based) location and a blue color icon indicates LBS (Cell tower-based) location




III. Advanced Services:

- By clicking the SERVICES icon at the tracking center, access advanced services.

- Click on AREA icon to access Geo Fencing features

- Click on LANDMARK icon to access land-marking features

- Click on ALERTS icon to access alerts and its settings

- Click on LOGS icon to access stored tracking logs of devices





A. Geofencing (Setting Authorized and Restricted Areas)

- Click on AREA icon under xwatch life services to access Geo Fencing features

- Access geo fences of each device by clicking on the Kid Icons on the top

- Scroll through the devices list by sliding icons left and right

- Use the provided sliding button to create authorized and restricted areas

- Long touch any area of the map to add a new alert area and set its name and size in Kilometers

- Authorized areas are indicated by green circles

- Restricted areas are indicated by red circles

- A single click on the icon over an area indicates the geo fenced area details. Area can also be deleted from here.




B. Landmarking (Setting Landmarks like Home, School, Mall etc)

- Click on LANDMARK icon under xwatch life services to access land-marking

- Access landmarks each device by clicking on the Kid Icons on the top

- Scroll through the devices list by sliding icons left and right

- Long touch any area of the map to add a new landmark and set its name and add a photograph

- A single click on the icon over an area indicates the landmark details. Landmarks can also be deleted from here.





C. Alerts (Settings, Messages - SOS, Battery, Area, Landmark, Out of Bounds)

- Click on ALERTS icon under xwatch life services to access alerts

- Access alerts of each device by clicking on the Kid Icons on the top

- Scroll through the devices list by sliding icons left and right

- Change alert settings of the devices by clicking on settings

- Read all alerts of the devices and delete/clear alerts by clicking on messages

- Newest alerts are displayed on the top and access older alerts by clicking Load More button.




D. Tracking Logs (Device Route History Data)

- Click on LOGS icon under xwatch life services to access stored logs of devices.

- Access logs of each device by clicking on the Kid Icons on the top

- Scroll through the devices list by sliding icons left and right

- Set the starting date and time of logs to be retrieved and displayed.

- Use the logs fetch icon at the top right corner of the logs map window to fetch and display more data from the logs database

- The routes of the devices are drawn for GPS based data only.




IV. My Life Services

- Click on the three vertical dots at My Tracking Center to access the User Menu

- From the User Menu access My Life Services

- View all plans currently active on the devices and their expiry dates

- Renew plans, downgrade and upgrade plans and make payments

- Renew, downgrade and upgrade multiple device plans using shopping cart




A. Basic Plan - Basic

- Manage devices

- Real time live tracking of devices


B. Plan A - Basic + Advanced

- Create 1 authorized and 1 restricted area per device

- Create 2 Landmarks per device

- Receive up to 10 alerts per device per day

- Access device history of up to one week


C. Plan B - Basic + Advanced

- Create 10 authorized and 10 restricted areas per device

- Create 20 Landmarks per device

- Receive up to 50 alerts per device per day

- Access device history of up to two weeks


D. Plan C - Basic + Advanced

- Create 25 authorized and 25 restricted areas per device

- Create 50 Landmarks per device

- Receive up to 100 alerts per device per day

- Access device history of up to one month



V. User Settings

- Click on the three vertical dots at My Tracking Center to access the User Menu

- From the User Menu access User settings

- Modify settings as per requirement and save.
